Great pedals

Awesome set of pedals. Sturdy construction and very realistic feel. The oomph sound of the clutch release is really something. My consistency and PB times started to improve right away. I shaved off almost 1.5s off my PB in Watkins Glen in the first week. The smoothness the dampers provide I think makes a big difference.

Totally worth it to buy once, cry once

These Heusinkveld (HE) Sim Pedals Ultimate+ should last for years and won't have to be upgraded to something better because, while there are arguably better pedals, I chose to race instead of argue. These things have been wonderful. They are very consistent and predictable. I haven't bothered to mess with the software (yet) because these are my first pressure sensitive pedals and the defaults are working very nicely. The experience so far has been good because it took maybe ten minutes to remove the old pedals and install these ones. From there it has been hours of creating the new muscle memory that is required for going from position sensitive pedals to pressure sensitive ones. Pressure sensitive is absolutely the way to go because consist brake performance leads to confidently selecting braking points which leads to better lap times. My old pedals were difficult to apply consistently enough. I bought the best pedals I could afford and am happy about the decision.
