I used the POM plate in a barebones Keychron Q3 board, and it needed it. The stock Q3 is a little bit of a hard sound, and I think it came with a steel plate, which made it worse. After installing the POM plate, things toned down, and switching to different switches and using KSA caps made a huge difference. Easy installation and everything lined up perfectly, no issues whatsoever. If you're thinking of trying a POM plate, just do it! You'll get a top-notch plate for your keyboard.

The POM is very precisly cut and came with all the stand offs required. My board sounds a whole lot better than with with the keychron supplied steel plate. I got the poron plate and case foam too. Everything fits absolutely perfectly.
