My original review seems to be missing. It was a positive review but I forgot to apply the star rating so it may have been removed as to not lower the overall rating of the product. That being said, I'm loving this ported stainless steel fermenter! I used to ferment in food grade 5 gallon buckets. This was a fairly cheap alternative for starting out. I saved up and decided to give this ported stainless steel fermenter a try and I have to say it's way better! I'm looking forward to many more batches made with it. I'm still a bit of a rookie to this stuff but I believe my wine tastes much better fermented in stainless steel rather than in plastic buckets. The drain helps with eliminating the transfer of sediment. I'm looking forward to purchasing up to 3 more of these so I can ferment more than 1 batch at a time. (3 for Fermenting and the 4th for sediment separation transfers)
