First of all. It's odd that the price if this unit is 3x the price of other and there is absolutely nothing special about them to justify the price difference. This is their solution to video loss. The real answer appears to be insufficient amperage to power the lights and dvr. Don't waste you time on this. I told them it was not the answer and bought it for the 30 day return period, but in the end you paid for shipping to them that you dont get that money back. Better off buying a cheaper one to power just the dvr and use the old one, or another one to power the cameras. Still cost half as much.

The functioning of this device has been very poor. I have had to request a change for another.

I thought my cameras were going bad. Spoke with a guy from your company and he said to replace this Power Adapter. It fixed everything. Kudos to that guy whoever he was.
