The top gel is pretty bad

I haven’t removed my first set yet, so I can’t speak to the remover drops, but the top gel was so bad. It ran all over my fingers and was so sticky. It never set up after hours. I’m wondering if I just got a bad batch. I ended going over it the next day with a different brand of top coat and that is working out fine. The light is great!
