I have been using another popular gopher trap to try to deal with this menace on my property with very mixed results and I decided to look for another way. I ordered this kit and made my first “set”. After making it, I walked about 20 feet and turned around to make sure I didn’t leave anything behind and the flag was already quivering! This kit literally took out the biggest gopher I’ve ever seen in a matter of seconds and I can’t recommend it enough! As someone who has been in manufacturing all of my life, I will make a suggestion on how to improve the kit. Instead of including covers made out of corrugated cardboard, make them out of thin delrin sheet or some other inexpensive plastic composite. The cost increase should be minimal, and you will have even more happy customers now that their covers will pretty much last forever.

Watched the training videos a couple of times while waiting for traps to arrive. The morning after the traps arrived I found four fresh mounds pushed up in the yard. Set four traps following instructions and found two dead gophers on checking the next morning. Two days later three more fresh mounds were found. Set traps and found two more dead gophers the next day! It’s been eight days now and no more gopher damage. Four gophers in seven attempts!
