I got the steering brace for a 94-02 Ram 3500 with a factory style steering box. Finish on the brace itself and the hardware is good. I did have to finagle the brace around a bit to get it to clear the pitman arm nut but it fits. Also, the pitman arm nut is long so using a socket to get it to the proper torque is out of the question unless you have an extra deep socket. I just used an 1 1/2” wrench and a 2” wrench and doubled them up to tighten the pitman arm nut. Other than the couple critiques I mentioned above, I noticed that steering on my truck feels tighter and I do not have any excessive play in the steering wheel.

1998 RAM steering brace kit
Brace fit the sway bar holes perfectly. Yet not quite enough clearance lateraly to quite center the hole around the steering gear output shaft. Had to slightly file the bearing mount holes to fit over the "spud" nut. Also don't know why the "spud" nut has an extra 1.25" of material past the bearing collar. Would have cut it off in the lathe had I not already loctited and torqued. Quality of components and finish is excellent. Thanks!

All around quality part. The welds look nice, powder coating is excellent and the fitment is perfect. It fits great with a Thuren track bar installed.
