Great "clone"
I'll give it 5 stars because the price is great especially considering if you are or were trying to find the original amber absolute. I can say when I first tried this, unlike so many other clones I was instantly like "wow" this is amber absolute. There was nothing "off" about it from my initial testings. However I can say after that, trying the original, 2015, and this side by side, I do detect some differences. I suppose the discrepancy could be because although again and correct me if im wrong, this is apparently actually was in fact made with the original formula from the perfumer however they apparently just made it a stronger concentration so thats why it smells so close. But this is darker and smoker than my original. Certainly I can say the original amber absolute is not something I ever though of as fresh. But the original smelling these side by side does have a bit of a fresh, fizzyness or boozyness to it that this does not have. And honestly I never even thought of until smelling them side by side. Overall though id say its 90-95% similar to the original and smells awesome though. Again so many other clones, they smell sorta similar but something is off. Theres nothing weird about this to me, nothing smelled off or funky, and I felt happy with my purchase.

Wabsolutely!
This is something I did not expect from an amber fragrance! Deep, rich and resinous to be sure but also spicy. How awesome!! You can almost feel it. Very long lasting and a beautiful scent. This is supposedly from the original Amber Absolute recipe from Tom Ford. Highly recommended!!

The Original Amber Absolute reincarnated
I have 15 ml left from an O8' falcon of Tom Ford AA. I've tested Damber side by side for 2 months. Damber is simply Indistinguishable and I have a nose like a blood Hyundai. The only difference is Damber, remains on the skin after the OG AA has faded. Yes, bold claim. None the less, it's true. It may be possible that due to the age of the TF, that it could have mellowed, but no. The top notes would die off before the base and thats not the case here as DW and AA have the same potency from initial spray, through the mid and base. The base of DW is simply lasting longer. Excellent job by this house!!!
