The Prettiest Robe!

This is the prettiest robe ever!! The print is beautiful, and the overall design is so feminine and romantic. Unfortunately, the quality does not live up to the price tag, which is why I'm taking off a star. When I first opened the package, the robe had a strange smell, so I washed it on a delicate cycle with cold water. After just one wash, it shrank noticeably, the pattern faded slightly, and I started noticing loose threads. For a robe that costs $195, I expected much better quality and durability. I was also surprised that the fabric wasn't thicker. It does not feel as substantial or luxurious as I expected. Another frustration was the lack of sizing information. I could not find any sizing guidance for the robes anywhere on the website. The size guide on the product page is for pajamas, and even the general size guide page does not include robe measurements. I even contacted customer support for help. They told me to refer to the size guide page, and when I explained that robe sizing information was not listed there, I never received a response. I struggled to decide between the XS/S and M/L because the robe is described as having a loose fit. I did not want it to be oversized, but I was also worried the smaller size might be too fitted. The XS/S fit me perfectly when it arrived, but after washing and shrinking, the fit is no longer as good. Had I known it would shrink, I would have ordered the M/L instead.
