Seeds germinated well (6/10), growth was fast and seedlings appear robust. We have previously tried to grow these trees from seeds collected in the wild, without success. I followed instructions regarding scoring, soaking, and planting depth, and was very pleased with the results. Seedlings were grown in a screened-in porch with overnight temperatures above 55 degrees and daytime temperatures in the 80s and 90s. We are very happy to finally have these trees to plant in our garden and hope that they will attract some beneficial insects.
