These arrive with no directions whatsoever. If you are installing as a "supersede" from an earlier part number (which I was), take your time and look it all over carefully. It's do-able, but a lot of work. Some parts have to be transferred from the old movement, such as the drive gear for the moving moon if you have one, the cable pulleys if they're not identical to the new ones, and the chime control lever. If you have to transfer the pulleys, be sure you do that before you put the movement into the clock case, not after it's in. Be sure to remove the thumb screws that restrain the chime spindle in shipping as well as the wooden blocks that restrain the chime hammer array. The entire install took me nearly eight hours. Hopefully by following these pointers you can cut that down to 5 or 6 hours.
