Motorcycle Highway Pegs for 1.25" Engine Guard

Got the box and it looked like it had been opened and sent back. Looked at everything and the finish looked good. Tried to run the capscrew into the peg, but both of them got hung up. Ended up having to run a tap through the pegs to get the bolts to run clean. They do look good, but the torque required to get them to hang on to the engine guards is a bit excessive to prevent spinning when you put your feet on them. Haven’t checked, because I used blue loctite, but I am kinda worried that the pegs are going to end up marring the engine guards.

Great product, all tools needed included and they look and function well. Only change I would make would be were the contact points are, it is just solid metal on metal, so you really gotta wrench on them to get them tight, if they are even an 1/8 turn too lose, they will slide. If there was just a thin layer of rubber where they connect to your crash bars, i think it wouod aid greatly in getting a snug and tight fit
