Piano Lessons with Gabriel

Our child has been taking piano lessons with Gabriel for almost a full year now, and we couldn't be happier. Our child's skillset has increased exponentially with Gabriel's guidance - she came in with zero musical experience or background and has grown leaps and bounds. When I pick Ophelia up from lessons she comes out energized and excited - exactly what you want to see out of your child learning a new skill. Every week Gabriel sends her home with pointed, specific skills and songs to focus on; he makes the learning accessible, fun, and engaging. I would highly recommend the community at RiverCity Rock Star Academy and persuing lessons with Gabriel or any of their other instructors.

Gabriel is picking up giving me formal instruction on guitar after I’ve spent some time trying to learn on my own. He’s been phenomenal in getting to know what I want to learn and tailoring a plan around teaching me fundamentals. I’ve already fixed a few bad habits and have a better understanding of things that will help me learn in the future.

As a true beginner who had never even held a guitar before, I was was pretty intimidated at the thought of starting guitar lessons in my 40s. But as something I've always wanted to do, I took a chance and did it anyway, and I am so glad I did! I was extremely fortunate to be paired with Gabe. In addition to being knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely patient, he has has a calm, kind energy that shines through his teaching. A talented musician in his own right, he can play a number of instruments and can explain the similarities in a way that it sticks. Gabe makes complex music theory ideas simple and memorable. He makes my guitar lessons something I always look forward to. I would highly recommend Gabe to anyone who wants to learn guitar, regardless of their age or skill level.
