Fighiissimo

figs - not really

It smells to me like caramel + anise. The fragrance pyramid sounded just perfect, but for some reason the fig tree note always smells like anise on me - and very strongly so. I guess the caramel-vanilla note comes from the black fig note, but I don't get any fig leaf . It has a pronounced sweet profile and is quite strong. Not my dream fig centered scent.

True Fig

I hesitate to say this is a safe blind buy because of how wildly subjective scents are, but I think if the notes sound good to you then you will love this. Very much just a true fig scent. Gentle sweetness that is not overwhelming or cloying. Projection is decent. I find myself reaching for this sample when I want something comforting and easy.
