Beautiful Fragrance
Patchouli 1973 is not a patchouli forward perfume but the patchouli is there. Top notes are listed as orange and lavender followed by geranium cinnamon and patchouli with sandalwood amber and musk as a base. I mention each of the listed notes because they're all there but nothing jumps out at you other than the cinnamon, ever so slightly. All the notes are a harmonious blend that ends in something complex and elegant.

Not like the Patchouli scent I know
I really wanted to like this scent, but it doesn't smell like patchouli to me. I understand it is a blend of other scents, but if the name is patchouli, it needs to do better.
