Medieval Nun’s Habit - Linen

This was perfect!

I knew I needed a habit for dressing as a medieval nun at an event, and historical authenticity was important to me. I thought about making my own, but the more I looked at this one, the more I thought it would be better if I tried this one. I bought it in chocolate, and it was great! Make sure you get whatever size says it accommodates your measurements, as it doesn’t stretch. I was right at the upper measurements given for the size I bought, and it is a bit snug to put on, but then perfectly comfortable once it’s on. The linen is thick and high quality, and the sleeves are perfect for hiding my hands away when I’m chilly. I’m so glad I went for getting this - it will be so versatile and useful for future costumes and reenactment!
