Challenging for setting preload

Studs are typically a better solution than bolts. The studs proved challenging for setting the preload, as I had to install the cap, torque, remove the cap, add/remove shims, and re-torque, measure the drag, multiple times. Ended up damaging some of the stud threads. I think a better plan is to use bolts to set the preload, then switch to the studs. Lesson learned.
