Upsetting...

I ordered a tee shirt for my partner's 60th birthday. Normally a wearer of size XXL I ordered that size. It was far too big. However, when I looked at this Company's conditions of return it stated that the wrong size was not returnable. I was angry because I felt this unfair and emailed stating that I felt that condition was unlawful. I received a disrespectful reply which accused me of over-reacting and that I ".....only had to ask." So I returned the tee shirt having put a written note inside to let them know details of the returned tee shirt. I sent it via a recorded delivery. Some days AFTER my partner's birthday I received a package from the Company. Thinking it was the new sized tee shirt I gave it to my partner to open. It was the original tee shirt. The package had been opened by the Company and returned. No reason given. I was very upset. As was my partner. So I wrote an email asking why. No reply so far. I am still extremely upset to have been treated so shabbily. Ms Chris Parry, Hoylake.
