Celsius Sleeping Bags

Overall I really like the bag. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. The main reason was getting it back into the bag was extremely difficult. I’m 6’3” and 250 Lbs of mostly muscle :). It felt like I was wrestling a slippery bear or a pig covered in grease. If the cotton was chopped up into smaller pieces internally, it might help with roll ability but may take away some fluff and r-value. Second, I had some trouble with the bag getting caught in the zipper. It needs a deflector to push the bag out the way. Did not impact rating but -20 degree bag was hot for 60’s but at night when temp fell to 30’s/40’s it felt good. Probably would buy 0 degrees bag if buying again as a big guy. The bag fits me but I wouldn’t want to go any smaller otherwise I’d be too tight. Two bags zipped together with this one on bottom and lighter one on top might be better and more bed like. I’m more of a bed sheet guy than wrap me like a burrito guy. Probably better for some campsite love making that way too.

The sleeping bag itself was excellent. The first night I used it. The temperature cut down to 40° and I had to unzip the sleeping bag because it was so warm. My only complaint is that the storage sack is really small and it is a five minute process to try to squeeze the sleeping bag back into the sack.

Great sleeping bag, but I wish I got the next size up. I’m 5’10, pretty average height so I thought the standard size would fit me. Can’t fit the hood over my height comfortably.
