Linear used to be the way of the game and now the way of the game is “search, place, repeat.” I like that, it’s good; however why do I have to keep track of what locations are connected to each other more than I need to? These markers help you know the three are connected, can be moved between, and help you with ease on avoiding enemies that hunt. “I can keep track just fine, thanks. Why do I need these?” I can keep track fine too, but hear me out, avid gamer, why not? They make your life easier. It doesn’t make the game easier, it just makes your life easier. We all want an easier life, right? The quality and time put into these let you know they’re there to make your life easier for games to come. They help newcomers to this party of yours easily know what’s connected, and they help seasoned veterans with trauma of the past know they won’t make the mistake of crossing a location in error again.
