Nice Plane
Very nice Plane. Flys great, my first semi scale. Zero trim needed. I will highly recommend this plane. Easy to fly and lands itself. Can do regular acrobatics with ease. Really need to turn the rates up to hover or 3D stuff. Do not know why someone said keeps Rudder finger honest? Will climb out nice after rotating in left hand pattern. Do agree with the brass crimps failing, had to use electrical 12v wire crimps. Aileron servos both had arms incorrectly positioned, unable to remove screws to reposition, had to use sub trims.

The sleeves for the wires on the tail
These sleeves or so brittle as sone as you put any pressure on them they crumble. Don’t know what they used for material but it sucks. I have used some sleeves for pull pull systems in the past and they worked fine when crimping them they did not brake as soon as you applied any pressure to them. That is the only reason I am not giving it a five star rating.

The OMP Decathlon is honestly a steal for the price. Super well-built, goes together cleanly, and everything fits the way it should. No real complaints at all. What surprised me most were the control throws—way better than I expected. It has plenty of authority for aerobatics, more than you’d think from a Decathlon. It can cruise around scale-like if you want, but open it up and it’ll snap, roll, and loop with zero drama. For the money, this thing is hard to beat. Great flying manners, quality construction, and surprisingly fun aerobatic capability. A no-brainer if you’re into sport or scale planes and want something that performs above its class.
