I bought this boxed set of cards because of the bright colors and interesting depiction of butterflies fluttering around flowers, and liked the other pieces of art depicted. Phyllis Shafer’s artwork has a style reminiscent of Van Gogh’s swirls, but with more finely drawn and colored depictions of plants, animals and scenes.
