The snap got stuck 2 times!

I bought the beautiful pink phone accessory thinking it would be great with my matcha phone case. The snap has gotten stuck both times. The first one I tried to open it carefully and have very little grip and the back up they sent me got stuck as well the same exact way! The metal piece both times wouldn’t budge. I have gel x nail extensions and my sister has regular nails so I thought she could do it but no luck same thing happened with the second one.
