Absolutely gorgeous dress. I impatiently awaited her drop. I exchanged my typical large in CD for an XL. I have a large bust (still breastfeeding) and the straps have zero give. The lace and silk tie do not tighten at all. The tie is there to just tie. My youngest pulled a string on the dress already. So I’m not sure how it will live long last. I feel it may be a more special occasion dress versus a daily wearer with how fragile it is. But the gingham paired with the embroidery made it a keeper for me. We never get green dresses either so I’ll hold onto her.

Mixed Feelings, Wish the Lace Was White!

I have mixed feelings about this dress! I get what the design team was trying to do with the yellow lace, but I find it doesn't always work well for Asian skin! Sometimes, CD pieces can have too much of a warm or yellow undertone that can clash with Asian skin. I wish that the lace was white, like the other colorway! I personally feel there isn't much continuity with yellow on the rest of the dress, and white would have made my skin/face brighter, whereas the yellow makes me look sallow.

Garden Picnic

This dress reminds me of garden picnics on summer days. The lace detail is beautiful, and the print is the perfect shade of green.
