This was just the best in the series so far! You just want to make something happen for the Hunter to make him happy. But life isn't fair and his is just something else. But, there is more to come....

Great next hall for Thomas K Carpenter

Forging a Legacy, focuses on the Metallum Nocturne Hall, the next of the 100 Halls that Thomas K Carpenter's invented. Its key character, Claire Teller, is another of Carpenter's damaged individuals who rises to accomplish the unthinkable through her ingenuity and with the help of a new friend and that of one of her close Hall classmates. The reader is taken to a new realm, Umbra, with a new "villain", the Night Mother. There are various plot twists and this time we also see a hall patron, Patron Canterbury, who isn't quite telling the whole story about how he succeeded the first patron of the hall, Stephen Adolphus. This book yet again sucks the reader into the universe Carpenter's created and leaves you wanting to read what I'm sure will be a second book about Claire and her adventures. Great read!
