As someone with only a cursory knowledge of controller tear downs, I was able to efficiently and easily follow the tutorial for putting together this controller. I did not install the rumble motors, as I did not know how to keep them in place (the original pro controller used glue). I got this controller to play Smash Ultimate, but it was a nice surprise to note that I could (with a retro cable) use it to play Melee as well. The Hoja 2 Config tool is a neat bit of software with some issues but is overall welcome. I enjoy not having to account for snapback in my more advanced combo routes, and aside from a few headaches with the software I think this is a near perfect upgrade to the original Pro Controller.
