The Luna Light-up Chocolate gift box arrived in the Valentines Day Tower offering from Vosges in February. The beautiful large butterfly heart box was gifted to my father for his 80th birthday...according to some retail sites it is the 'diamond year.' A box of Vosges is a 'diamond gift' every time regardless of year. (smile) The smaller blue exotic butterfly round was gifted to my daughter for Valentine's. The Light-up Luna Gift box was a gift to myself. It is well designed and thoughtfully decorated with brilliant butterfly wings and an enchanting heart that lights up in the center of the box as you pull the drawer open to discover the treats within. As always, Vosges did not disappoint. An exquisite array of delectable truffles that delight and surprise the palate with the orange infused white cacao and raspberry highlighted caramel marshmallows. A longstanding fan of the dark chocolate exotic truffle collection, Vosges always amazes me with offerings that invite me to explore new flavor infusions that inform me of the adventure that awaits when I allow myself to be open to the unknown and trust that Vosges does not disappoint in their quality artisan crafting of the ultimate truffle experience. I return to this beautiful butterfly light-up box time and again now that the treats have been consumed. Its beauty of the transitional as well as transformative butterfly motif lends a little lightness to my day. It reminds me to keep true to my heart-space and soul and to continue on with courage despite the ongoing daily challenges housing a mentally ill "adult" child.
