Navy Wool Peacoat
I got the wool peacoat since I wanted to grab one that fit me before they are gone forever (I don't know why the navy decided to do away with them). It is exactly as described and came within a week. Thank you!

38L sizing drama - 5 star coat, 2 star sizing chart
First off: I’m not exchanging it, and I’d buy another if the sale price comes up again. Fabric is lighter weight than the older pea coats I’ve seen in vintage/surplus but feels like a very tight weave, warm and wind proof. Workmanship is 10/10, I won’t be surprised if I pass this on to a grandkid someday. My big “but”: Sterlingwear’s size chart (the same chart McG’s passed on to me) recommends sizing up (eg: size 40 for a 38” chest); various online forums tell you to go with your suit size. I’m a 37-38 depending on the day so i went for sz38, thinking it might be spot on or just a tad snug (fine, i have narrow shoulders). This particular 38 fits me like a 40, maybe a 42. Huge. I’m keeping it, though, as wearing it is a half coat/ half snuggly blanket sensation and the goth kid in me loves it. I’ll size down next time if I get the chance. But, awesome coat, and I’m so happy to own this bit of old-school USA heritage.
