Best OCR compression socks ever

I originally purchased 2 pairs of Mud Gear compression socks in 2020 after starting my first Spartan Obstacle Course Race. They worked so well for me that I gave my second pair to a good friends who also loves them for the problematic ankle swelling she has. The socks have never rolled down my legs, the extra thickness in the calves means the rope traverse doesn't graze my calves and ankles. As for the added thickness in the toes and heels, that just gives extra padding for down hills, the fabric used in the socks isn't slippery like other socks, so going down hills my feet don't slide into the toe box easily. Paired with toe socks and wide toe box shoes I have eliminated 90% of blisters even with wet shoes and socks. After 4 years of use my one pair still stay up for a weekend of Spartan Racing, and only now am I retiring them with wear holes in the heel area which I can say could only be improved with extra padding up the heel/Achilles area. I have purchased 3 more pairs and recently wore them for the Gold Coast Spartan Trifecta weekend and Hurricane Heat.

Good product, late delivery

Hi! I ordered my socks in time for my first spartan race, but delivery was delayed. I received them the day after my race. I thought about returning them, but decided to use them anyways on trail runs. I was very happy the first time using them on very wet and muddy trail. They provided good cushion and toe protection going down steeper terrain. Thank you!
