The Northwest Herringbone

Perfect .. just the right weight and thickness to be warm but not bulky .. has a nice relaxed feel .. with room without feeling too oversized .. looks casually sophisticated.. and I feel effortlessly put together..

I love this jacket so much! The quality is outstanding, the olive herringbone is even nicer in person, and it has a timeless feel. I was nervous about the dropped shoulder seam but it's not too bulky. The fit is relaxed so although I'd normally wear a small, I chose an extra small because I wanted oversize but for it to still look like it fits - it's perfect. I can fit a light sweater under it no problem. For reference, I'm a 5'4", 36 chest, 30 waist and 39 hips. The fit around the hips is just right but if my hips were wider it might affect the drape at the back. The arm length is perfect for me because I don't have long arms, but I can see this being a problem for long-armed folks. I've wanted an Anian jacket for so long and I'm very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this coat. I almost don’t want warm weather to come so I can keep wearing it. The weight is perfect, the fabric is soft, the cut is classy, it has good pockets, and it’s a perfect length for a shoulder seasons coat. (I’m almost 5’9” and 150 lbs and the S is a dream fit, even in the arms.) Highly recommend it.
