Great Little Solar Node!

Set up was super easy connected immediately! Had it up on my roof and it improved my signal impact perfectly. Battery holds solid in a sunny spot on my roof and goes through cloudy days without issue. Most likely I will be adding another soon at a friends house to increase our footprint.

First time Meshtastic user

What can I say? If you stumble across Meshtastic and start diving in, you inevitably end up at RAKwireless and Rokland, their US distributor. Their reputation precedes them, and it’s definitely not just hype. I ordered the RAKwireless WisMesh Repeater Mini, and so far, it’s been performing extremely well. The build quality feels very solid, and it worked right out of the box. I did add a bit of silicone sealant at the antenna hinge as a precaution against moisture, but that’s more about the general antenna design than the unit itself. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it!

Repeater works great so far

I moved it on a pole ten feet above my roof and it’s discoverable over a mile away in town, some places more. It’s stayed on with the solar panel and can be remotely logged into mostly consistently. My peers are discovering their traffic is getting routed through my repeater, so it’s been a success.
