Basix® Chenille Brights X Mama Made Minis

Love it!

I have never been a fan of chenille yarns but let me tell you I absolutely love this one! The feel is amazing and it works up beautifully. I had no issues with any shedding, and I would definitely get more at some point! It makes amazing plushies!

Unfortunately the quality has really declined

Basix chenille has been my go to yarn for a while, but over the last year or so I have noticed a huge shift in quality. It’s a gamble with each order if I’m going to get nice, silky, soft skeins or oddly rough & flat skeins. In my last order, most of the skeins were rough and even the softer ones still weren’t the same quality i used to love from premier. When I reached out to customer service they were less than kind about it and my only option was to ship them back and then rebuy them at a higher price than what I paid. It’s unfortunate- they used to replace bad skeins but I guess this is no longer the policy. That was a big reason I kept going back even when the quality declined but now I feel like I’ll have to find a more reliable brand unfortunately.
