Required protection for desert riders

These A-Arm guards are easy to install and provide great protection. After only 25 miles of desert trail riding I noticed my a-arms had numerous paint chips and scratches exposing bare metal. These guards were recommended by other Speed owners and are a must have to protect your a-arms.

Nice quality pieces

These are high quality, thick guards that cover all areas that might be damaged by rocks on the trail. I will say if you have a 1/2” uhmw full skid plate from Speed you will need to trim either the A arm guards or the Speed skid plate because they make contact on full droop of the front suspension. I realized how much would need to be cut off the A arm guards and decided to trim the Speed skid plate back an inch or so to get the clearance needed. It’s probably just a small oversight but the A arm guards could be manufactured to clear the Speed skid plate with some slight modifications to the design. Just food for thought but plan on having to cut your new guards when you get them. Other than this, the parts fit great and protect wonderfully. Cheers
