Disappointed
I'm a journal-keeper and novelist and I'm all about writing by hand, so I go through pens quickly and am very particular about them. I ordered these because a friend highly recommended them to me, and when I tried her Uniball pen, it was even smoother than my usual Muji pens, which I've used exclusively for seven years. I also liked the metal clip. But when my Uniball pens arrived, all three of them skipped all the time and, when I kept one clipped inside my jeans pocket for a day, it completely stopped working even though it was still full of ink! I put a second pen in my pocket a few weeks later and the same thing happened. I was really hopeful about these, but I can't use them if they stop working after a few hours in a pocket.

Great feel, disappointing writing
Got two pens in black, 0.5. I wanted to like this pen a lot more than I did based on its look and feel, but the ink skips or thins out far too much compared to other models. Both pens write the same, so I take that to mean that's just how the One writes.

Love the ONE!
I love the body of the One. I love the fidgety nature of the clip. It’s comfortable (not like the other smooth Uni grips of late) and a pleasure to write with. I don’t like the ink at all. Yes, it’s dark, but it skips and railroads. So I replace the refill the with refill from the 207+plus pens I bought. The 207+plus refill is perfect! However, the body and grip are horrible. I miss the nubs of the 207 and 307 pens. Uni’s experimentation is welcome, I just wish it was bit more successful! Too many “too thick” grips 10-10.5mm is perfect! NOT 11+mm. And the smooth grips…notsomuch.
