You can immediately tell this is a quality filter. The Subaru JDM Tokyo Roki oil filter is my go-to for EJ20/EJ25 engines because the construction and filtration quality are top notch. Excellent internal build, proper bypass valve specs, and confidence knowing it’s designed specifically for Subaru applications. Fitment was perfect, threads were smooth, and the gasket sealed cleanly with zero issues. Paired with a quality synthetic oil, this is exactly what I want protecting a turbo Subaru engine. If you care about using the right parts and keeping your EJ happy long-term, this is absolutely worth it. I’ll continue running Tokyo Roki filters on my Subaru.
