Fantom S

Wallet works perfectly, much less bulky than my old school brick :)

I'm really enjoying this wallet as a replacement to a leather wallet that I carried everything in. It was bulky, inefficient and had me carrying things I didn't really need on a day to day basis. I took a chance on this Fantom wallet and slimmed everything down to 7 cards including a tracker. No regrets, much easier to carry around, and trackable if I lose it.

The Fantom S is nice but it’s larger than my Fantom M. Also the S does not securely hold metal cards. When I turn it upside down, metal cards fall out. Apparently the X and M have a retention mechanism for metal cards, but the S does not. Plastic cards work perfectly. If I had known this, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it.

New to this lifestyle

I am new to the front pocket/minimalist lifestyle. That being said, I have been carrying my back pocket wallet in my front for some time now. I like the fact that it forces me to not keep so much stuff in my wallet. I am still getting used to the way it fans the cards out, the money clip is tight, so that is good. I do have an rfid card that i used to use without taking it out of my wallet, but now I have remember to take it with me. I am 59 years old, so I have had a thick leather for a looooonnnggg time.
