Not functional for the reason for which I bought it - but see review

I discussed the item with one of your colleagues and bought it on the basis of the gel backing and its non-slip features for using as a runner on carpeting, where there is most footfall. It did not work and slipped and slid around all over the place - the carpet aspect needed to be heavier in weight and have more of a sticky/substantial gel backing for it to be functional as required. I am now using it on a laminate floor and it is holding in place very well - so this is how I believe it should be used. Time will tell if the lightweightness of the carpet will be hard wearing enough.

Great 7 foot runner!

I love this 7 foot runner, so glad it came in actual beige colour because in the photo advertised it looks yellow. After the creases from being tightly rolled up during transport flattened out, it looks great in my kitchen and stays put. Very happy with my order and the quality of it and at an unbeatable price too! Would recommend!5
