Bought to replace my Schatz Midi-Mariner mechanical clock of the same size. Bell chiming is a lot quieter but very happy with purchase. Arrived very quickly and exceptionally packaged. No problem fitting in same place on wooden plaque on wall

Expensive clock but worth it. Absolutely great delivery time and packaging. Fast, efficient and I will use them again. I had a Schatz clock on my fishing boat. I fished predominantly for halibut 60 years ago in the Gulf of Alaska and Hecate Strait. The clock lasted for years. It was a wind-up clock with a bell chime. I also bought a 4 inch Schatz barometer. They look great in my Riviera 575 SUV. Mike F

This Schatz clock was purchased in appreciation of all the staff at TS Black Swan Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadet Corps and given to them when my son left the Unit. We opted for this clock because it is a proper nautical item of excellent quality and good construction, which looks as though it will last for years. The ship's bells ring out with a ting-ting, loud enough for the wardroom or CO's office.
