it is a very good paper in my opinion. the first page was bound a little differently than the rest of the pages. mostly a minor inconvenience.

very nice notebook

It does indeed lay flat. :-) The paper is an 'easy on the eyes' cream color and takes fountain pen and gel ink very nicely with no bleeding and only the slightest bit of show-through. Lines have 6mm separation. Highly satisfied!
