Knotless Hay Nets - 3x4 Round Bale

I have 2 of these nets. One is in my hay hut on my track. I bought a second one after taking the one off the track to use indoors during the 3 weeks my horses were stranded inside after an ice storm. I put it in a large 300 gallon rubber water tank. It worked great! I think my horses prefer the knotless netting and like to eat with their heads down.

I have been looking for a bale net in this size and one that doesn’t limit hay intake for a while now. I have a stallion that is the biggest waster of hay and this works beautifully to let him have the intake he wants without the waste. For our operations small square bales are just inefficient to put up and use, but for individual horses we bale lots of 36 inch bales to feed and it doesn’t slow down the baling and handling process. (Or the feeding time either and that’s important when feeding 100 plus horses) Going to order another 3x4 for another stallion and figure out some of the larger ones too.
