Weird bust seam

It’s a beautiful dress and I wanted to love it, but it has a weird bust seam that didn’t work for me. The seam is very high and I couldn’t figure out how it’s supposed to sit- either it goes under the breasts, which results in spilling out over the top, or else everything gets smushed down. Im a C cup for reference. It may work better for smaller cup sizes.
