I bought this for my husband. He haven’t tried it yet, but from my version I know it resembles a wash cloth, a pretty one. I don’t know how it feels with the charcoal, but I know that it lathers the soap very good. After all knowing my husband he prefers something more exfoliating, but this still very nice pouf, that I will be happy to inherit. Vicky V
