LennyTwin - Peanut Butter - Twin Carrier & Hip Sling

Really wanted to love it. But I don’t.

I was really hoping to like this twin carrier. I have tried using it at least a dozen times thinking it was user error. But it just doesn’t check all the boxes as I was hoping it would. The fabric is nice quality and I like the side-carry concept. But it just simply does not work for my 3 month old twins. My main complaint is the stretchy fabric piece that is supposed to sit on your shoulder cap. It moves and gets easily displaced if you raise your arms even a little. I tried tightening the straps several different ways. Tried adjusting the fabric to sit wide, but I still ended up choking myself with the straps because they would come off the shoulder cap and tighten around the neck when carrying both babies. Maybe if I were simply walking, they would stay in place. But I have other children and am a busy Mom that needs to be able to move my arms. Besides, when both babies are in the carrier, it’s hard to adjust the stretchy fabric over both shoulder caps. You need another pair of hands to help. The front crisscrossed straps also end up in each babies face…that may be user error, but with each adjustment I’ve done with the straps, I always seem to have a strap in their face. For the money, I was really hoping for something MUCH better. I think they need to go back to the drawing board with this one. I like it just fine as a singleton carry, but it’s not for twinnies.
