Lock assembly worked after I told Aventon that I was having trouble with the battery popping out. Still under warranty but they wouldn’t cover the cost because the shop couldn’t duplicate the problem. Once I told them that the new assembly worked, they admitted that the lock was the problem. But wouldn’t cover the part. So just beware of you might have to fix the problem yourself at your cost.
