Beautiful Sweater, Doesn’t not wash well

I just purchased this sweater and I love the fit. I ordered a small and it’s slightly oversized in the best way—super comfortable on its own and perfect for layering over other pieces. The fabric feels great and it’s easy to throw on. My only complaint is that after washing it on a delicate cycle (which I use for most of my clothes), it’s already starting to pill after just one wash. Disappointing given how much I liked it otherwise.
