Whirlpool Range Single Surface Burner - W10823699, Replaces: WP8523697

Works well once figured out install.

My range is a WGP83801, Part required was a W10823699. The element connector is different from original OEM. Locations for the connectors and connector codes don't match, and no manual or diagram provided. One male connector on element was a bit bigger than the female lead coming from stove. We snipped off the original lead and replaced with a larger one. Read the codes on the underside of the connector and the back of the stove, If the code labelling doesn't match, use a multi-meter set to ohms to find your two hot leads. (When multi-meter is touching the two hot leads on new element, you'll get a reading. all other combinations will remain at 0 resistance). Worked well once we figured out how to connect it.
