Low expectations, High rewards

I got this bottle for free with purchase for a Father's Day promotion. Since I needed a new check in luggage anyway, free is free, so I didn't have any high expectations at all. I just thought "oh great another water bottle to add to my arsenal." Holy wow! At first I didn't think I'd like not having a straw but it actually isn't a deal breaker anymore. I noticed I am drinking more water with this bottle than any of my others. It doesn't allow ice to melt right away so water actually stays cold for quite some time. It does weird me out not having a straw still since I'm not a graceful drinker apparently but I have plenty of sustainable, reusable straws I can add if needed. Whether the UV light is doing anything is beyond me unless I tested the water myself, which I might in the future, but it gives me kind of a peace of mind I guess. I don't really care for the texture of the bottle and it looks like it was "sloppily painted" but that's just the look of it. Not a deal breaker, just not my cup of tea. I haven't dropped it yet but it seems to be well built and can take a beating. Maybe the texture/look keeps it looking fresh if I were more reckless with it, but I guess we'll see. My other gripe is that I'd much rather the loop be on the lid than the bottle since they aren't all one piece. I can be airheaded at times and forget where I put the lid down at. It'd be nice to have the loop on the lid rather than the top of the bottle base. Overall, I think this is a great water bottle, especially since I got it for free, but it has exceeded my expectations and is helping me drink more water.

This is not only beautiful, it is also hard working. Does a great job keeping liquids at the right temperature for hours.

Easy to use and stylish- Great tasting water!

So far, the Kiyo water bottle works really well- it keeps cold water cold and takes away gross flavors in my tap water if i get water right from my sink. I’m excited to see how it does during travel.
