iOptron Tri-Pier w/ Rolling Case - 8034-RC

I purchased the iOptron Tri-Pier to mount the WD-20 mount (supporting WO FLT132). I sold a EQ6-PRO to go to strain wave and wanted a heavier tripod than a TC40 (from ZWO) but remain portable. The design and look of the pier is exceptional (I've had quite a few mounts in 35 years). 1) Looks and functionality are great 2) workmanship is terrible. a) pier is not completely round - just setting up in the living room, the pier was scratched up when adjusting the pier height. b) there are screws that extend through the mounts legs top portion (about 1/8") into the pier c) top plate of the tri-pier does not sit completely flush with pier and with scope mounted it moves back an forth when slewing. All in all great design, very poor workmanship.
