Better and more functional tha expected

Very happy with this backpack so far - many pockets, it fits my laptop and keyboard. Great for my days in the office. Lots of space for my lunch and other items.

Good, but Could be Great

Really wanted to love this backpack - and I ALMOST do. I'm keeping it because it checks most of my boxes, but two suggestions to make it perfect: 1. Exterior "water bottle" pockets on both sides!! I like to keep my phones and other necessities handy at my right hand, but this only has the exterior slip pocket on the other side. Annoying. 2. Back zipper access (next to the laptop sleeve zipper) into the main compartment of the bag! Then I could access things without flipping over the top flap and getting in that way. Would be a HUGE improvement. Also, I think the fabric feels a little . . . cheap. It's clearly durable, but something about the texture doesn't read as high-end to me. So close to being perfect!!

Everlane has been bought by Shein, betraying its sustainability values

The backpack itself is very high quality, but the SOLE reason I purchased it was because of Everlane's supposed sustainability credentials (and I did a lot of research). A mere few weeks after my backpack arrived, it was announced that Everlane has been bought by Shein. I am outraged and sincerely wish I could reverse my purchase.
