The fruity sweet aroma of this golden-orange saison is followed by complex fruity, spicy, and soft malt flavors while finishing dry and tart. The long-lasting rocky ivory head fades resulting in traditional Belgian lace on the glass. Saisons were originally produced in the French-speaking section of Belgium at the end of the cool season to last through the warm months. The brew had to be sturdy enough to last for months, but not too strong to be thirst quenching and refreshing in the summer.
